Afghanistan News U.S. launches drone attack on Islamic State after evacuating 4,200 people

In the scramble to get Americans and Afghans out of Taliban-governed Kabul and away from expected assaults from the Islamic State,

the United States cleared around 4,200 individuals in 12 hours Friday, the Biden organization said.

Twelve U.S. military flights “conveyed roughly 2,100 evacuees,” a White House news discharge said. 29 alliance flights conveyed around 2,100 from the Kabul air terminal, the site of Thursday’s Islamic State assault that killed 13 U.S. administration individuals.
