Compared with the placebo group, patients in the hyaluronic acid group had significantly lower pain scores. In the second 8-week study, 60 patients with osteoarthritis were randomized to receive supplemental treatment with 200 mg hyaluronic acid or 200 mg placebo.
In the treatment group receiving 200 mg of hyaluronic acid, the pain and all related symptoms of the most pain patients showed a significant decrease, but 100 mg of hyaluronic acid supplement therapy did not have such an effect.
The latest study conducted by JR Tokyo General Hospital found that patients with osteoarthritis between 40 and 70 years old can improve symptoms of osteoarthritis by taking 200 mg of Hyabest (a highly purified form of hyaluronic acid) daily for more than 12 months.
Studies have shown that the body is constantly trying to repair itself, and if the necessary repair materials are sufficient, then this repair is entirely possible.
